Monkey Thunder

Last night I showed a new work made in Processing, "Haggenbeck-Wallace" at the "Monkey Thunder" show in Muncie, Indiana. The work uses face capture to detect a viewer and project their image in the top 1/5 of the screen. As a face is detected, animations begin to play the piece becomes more chaotic, carts and camels drive by, a clown floats in the corner, culminating in a surprise "Escape" moment. I've been having a lot of fun this "summer" so far working in Processing and Open Frameworks and am looking forward to translating some of my old works into new programming formats and making some new interactive pieces.
